Welcome to Dragonfly! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Jayna Miller and I am a speech-language pathologist, an Orton-Gillingham-trained reading tutor, and the founder of Dragonfly Kids Therapy. I started the practice to provide children with high quality speech, language, and literacy therapy. I want to help kids grow into confident communicators so they can share their unique voice with the world.
My first child was born with a rare syndrome and speech therapy was part of our lives from the very beginning. His care team included many specialists, one of whom was a compassionate speech therapist. I understand that having a child who struggles to communicate is not easy, so I decided to dedicate my life to helping children (like my own) speak to the world.
Every child needs to be able to communicate as early as possible, whether it is through signs, spoken words, or a device, and every child needs to be able to read. Since we know that early language and speech skills predict literacy and academic success, it is vital that we support children in all areas. Dragonfly’s integrative, multi-modal approach to therapy combines speech, language, and literacy so that your child grows in every area — not just one.

In-person therapy services are provided in Dublin, Ohio (central Ohio area)
I am also happy to offer teletherapy appointments for children 4 years and older in California and Ohio.
Step One
Contact me to schedule a complimentary call to discuss any questions and concerns about your child. During this call, we will discuss next steps, including a potential screening or evaluation
Step Two
I will conduct an initial screening or evaluation to determine your child’s strengths and challenges, as well as learn about your priorities for therapy. This information helps us create focused goals and an individualized program just for your child.
Step Three
Therapy begins! As part of your child’s care team, you are included in all aspects of therapy. After each session, you will be updated on progress and provided with activities to extend the learning at home!
Billing
Dragonfly Kids Therapy is an out-of-network provider for insurance companies. We choose to focus on providing high-quality, individualized therapy that is not possible when delivering therapy as an in-network provider.
We are happy to provide you with an itemized bill (i.e., a superbill) which lists medical CPT codes and administered services and can be submitted to your insurance to obtain reimbursement for services. There is no guarantee that insurance companies will approve your claim. Please contact your insurance directly to find out about your coverage before accessing services.
