Jayna Miller founded Dragonfly Kids Therapy to provide families with children and their families with high-quality, personalized therapy in speech, language, and literacy.

As the mother of a medically-complex child who had speech therapy for years, she understands the importance of starting therapy as soon as possible.

“My child was deaf, so we started speech and language therapy early,” Jayna says. “Through the integrated efforts of his therapists, teachers, and our family, my child not only learned to communicate, but he excelled in language, reading, and all academic areas. I know that effective therapy is truly collaborative and utilizes each child’s unique strengths and interests. My mission is to provide holistic, evidence-based intervention to help children reach their highest potential — all while having fun!”

Jayna earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Ohio State University and her master’s degree from New York University in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licenses in Speech-Language Pathology in Ohio and California. She is an Allied Professional Educational Therapist with Association of Educational Therapists (AET) and is pursuing a master’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health (PNoMH) from King’s College London (UK).

Jayna lives in Ohio and enjoys running and taking long road trips with her sons and dogs.
